2023 Choice Rosé of Pinot Noir

Hand crafted Rosé of Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley

Please note: Shipping December 6th, this 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir is the newest release in the CHOICE family of wines.

This Russian River Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir has inviting aromas of subtle rose petals, watermelon and dried pomegranates. The strawberry flavors combine with mouthwatering refreshing acidity.

VINIFICATION
The Pinot Noir grapes for this Rose were loaded in the press as whole clusters and gently pressed to give the light pink color and minimal tannins. The juice was chilled and settled for 48 hours and then racked off the solids and inoculated with yeast. The Rose was fermented at 60 degrees in a stainless steel tank in order to capture the fresh fruit flavors. This wine was bottled on October 28th only two months after the grapes were pressed.

VINEYARD LOCATION
The grapes for this wine come from Occidental Road, just down the street from the winery. The clone of these Pinot Noir grapes are most commonly grown for sparkling wines, which aid in giving this rose is crisp acidity, bright fruit flavors without heavy tannins.
